| fragments of a Gaelic Bible, |
| a Russian-German diction- |
| ary, an English-language |
| dictionary with scalloped |
| edge indents, a volume of |
Shakespeare, a Chinese. |
| novel, a sea captain's |
| receipts from the late 1900's, |
| a boy's notes on the batting |
| order of a baseball game, |
| and a plumber's rough |
| diagram on the back of his |
| parts list. Also there are |
| a few scraps of papers that |
| I hand-printed in the studio |
| in glossy black etching ink. |
